Denmark: Ramboll Expands its Headquarters

Strong growth makes the Ramboll Oil & Gas headquarters in Esbjerg, Denmark expand with 2,500 square meters of rental office facilities located close to the harbour.

For a long time Ramboll in Esbjerg has held a wish to unify all activities at one address. However, plans for a new building next to the existing head office is now put on standby due to an extremely fast growing number of new employees:

‘Right now we experience a great demand for our consultancy and we simply need to expand our office facilities immediately. With 275 colleagues working from our head office in Esbjerg we desperately need more office space and we can’t wait years for a new building to be constructed,’ explains Managing Director John Sørensen.

Approximately 100 employees will be moving into the new office facilities this spring.

Continuing growth – not just in Denmark

The overall number of employees has risen 50 per cent during the last three years and Ramboll Oil & Gas now employs a total of 750 specialists in six countries.

‘We are pleased to be able to attract so many new colleagues to Esbjerg and to be part of a booming offshore industry. We believe that Ramboll Oil & Gas holds great potential for further growth and we will keep expanding our business in the coming years not only in Denmark but also abroad,’ John Sørensen concludes.
