Donald Trump Submits Golf Resort Plans After All

Donald Trump has submitted planning applications to Aberdeenshire Council for the next development phase of his Aberdeenshire golf course, including a ballroom and a 30-bedroom staff accommodation building, Scotland Now informs.

Even though the businessman vowed not to take his plans forward unless the European Offshore Wind Deployment Centre (EOWDC) was rejected, he now claims that the offshore wind project’s chances of being built are weakening.

The Trump Organization said that the Vattenfall, the developer of the offshore wind project, is unable to further finance the development and that the technology meant to be used is out of date, according to Daily Mail. The EOWDC developer denied that any of this is true and stated that the plans for the development are still ongoing.

The U.S. billionaire claims that the EOWDC, comprising 11 wind turbines off Aberdeenshire coast, would ruin the view from his golf course at Menie.
