DSLNG’s director Kurniawan Rahardjo was reported by Reuters as saying that the initial estimate for 2019 was at 43 cargoes, however, the company could lower the output.

Rahardjo noted that up to 32 cargoes have been committed to long-term buyers with further six sold in the spot market. The remaining portion of the planned output is yet to be sold.

The project produced a total of 41 cargoes during the previous year, eight of which have landed in the spot market.

Rahardjo noted the company is monitoring the price which could be pushed up as winter approaches, but the production outlook could be lower than 43 cargoes.
