Drilling Operations Begin in New Zealand's Canterbury Basin

The well is located in PEP 38264 of Canterbury Basin offshore New Zealand.

The drillship Noble Bob Douglas is expected to take about 40 days for this drilling operation, which will reach an expected total depth of 2,800m subsea in a water depth of 1,105m, said Origin Energy Limited in a press release.

The PEP 38264 is a Joint Venture between the operator Anadarko New Zealand Company with a 45% interest, Origin Energy Limited 45% and Discover Exploration Canterbury NZ BV 10%.
