South Korea’s shipbuilding giant Daewoo Shipbuilding & Marine Engineering (DSME) said it had secured an order worth 394.3 billion won ($366.7m) to build two liquefied natural gas (LNG) carriers.

The two LNG vessels are scheduled for delivery by the end of September 2020, DSME said in a filing to the stock exchange on Tuesday.

Daewoo did not reveal the name of the shipping company that is behind the order saying only it was located in Oceania.

This deal comes less than a month after Daewoo won an order to build two LNG tankers for the Singapore-based gas shipping giant BW.

The two BW’s 173,400-cbm LNG carriers, priced at some $183 million each, are scheduled for delivery by the first half of 2020.

Looking at the latest contract value, the two new vessels are likely to be of similar capacity as the BW duo.
