E.ON sells LNG cargo to PetroChina

E.ON Global Commodities sold an LNG cargo scheduled for November delivery to PetroChina.

Cargo was loaded from Spain in August aboard the Kita LNG carrier, according to Reuters.

Traders say this sale might be signalling a doubt that the spot prices could show a significant winter recovery.

Traders also say that the surplus from Argentina partially caused an increase in prompt cargoes weighed on spot prices.

Cargo was priced in the mid-$14 per mmBtu range, according to traders.
