Eagle LNG picks Cosmodyne tech for Jacksonville project

Eagle LNG Partners has selected Cosmodyne’s natural gas liquefaction equipment for its LNG facility in Jacksonville, Florida.

Cosmodyne said in a statement on Tuesday that the natural gas liquefier will enable Eagle LNG to increase and decrease production depending on fluctuating market conditions.

The initial production capacity of Eagle LNG’s facility will be 87,000 gallons per day which will be increased to 200,000 gallons per day.

The facility will supply LNG to Crowley Maritime’s LNG-powered commitment class ships named El Coqui and Taino that are scheduled for delivery in 2017.
