Electrical Fault Shuts Longtom Production (Australia)

Nexus Energy Limited (Nexus) advises that production at the Longtom gas processing facility near Orbost, Australia, has been suspended as a result of an electrical fault.

The location of the fault is in the process of being determined and could be within the Santos Limited (Santos) or Nexus offshore facilities.

The outage is expected to continue until the fault is identified and fixed through an offshore intervention program. Planning for the offshore intervention has been initiated with Santos, to identify and remedy the fault and return the plant to continuous production as quickly as possible.
