Elengy: First Commercial Reloading of LNG Tanker for Montoir (France)

Elengy, a GDF Suez LNG unit, said that April 2012 has seen a new achievement for Montoir-de-Bretagne LNG terminal with the successful loading of a cargo in excess of 145 000 cbm of LNG.

The LNG was transferred from the onshore tanks within a two-day port call, in line with the schedule, the company said in a statement.

The implementation of this new service demonstrates the ability of the Montoir-de-Bretagne LNG terminal to effectively match customers’ needs in a global LNG market.

This service offers extra flexibility to shippers for seizing arbitrage opportunities, from a terminal located on the Atlantic coast and connected to the North-West Europe gas markets, the company added.
