EMAS-AMC Extends BOA Deep C Contract

Singapore’s EMAS AMC has extended the contract for the BOA Deep C offshore construction vessel.

The vessel, owned by Boa OCV AS, will stay with EMAS AMC for another 60 days.  The vessel has been working for EMAS since 2008.

After the completion of the contract the vessel will complete its scheduled class survey, and will be made available for long term contracts starting early 2014.

Thw owner describes the Boa Deep C as “a state-of-the-art, technically advanced, highly competitive offshore construction vessel capable of operating in waters up to 2,000 meters. With a proven track record ranging from heavy lift and floatover operations, transporation, pipelay installations and ROV support, the Boa Deep C is a widely versatile and economically efficient vessel with unmatched workability. Utilizing its 1,150 m2 deck, 2 ROVs and 250 ton AHC crane, the Boa Deep C provides a stable platform to complete demanding offshore oil and gas projects in the most challenging ultra-deep water environments.”

The BOA OCV AS Offshore construction vessels fleet consists of four modern vessels. Boa Deep C (2003), Boa Sub C (2007), Polar Queen (2011), Topaz Captain (2001). The work scope is ranging from diving support, pipe-laying and offshore sub-sea installation to clean-up operations after devastating hurricanes.
