Enagas Presents LNG Services at International Events

Enagás has recently participated in a number of international conferences of the gas sector, in order to present new LNG services at its terminals, originally designed for regasification. The need to cater to new, growing markets in the gas logistics chain has led to the development of new services, such as small scale LNG services, trans-shipment, bunkering, parking gas and LNG trucking.

In October the Director of Commercial and TPA Management at Enagás, Fernando Impuesto Nogueras, participated in the 8th Annual LNG TECH Global Summit 2013 held in Barcelona. The presentation focused on new services in the LNG market, under the title “Technical challenges in the development of new logistics activities: LNG bunkering, small scale and bulk break”.

This month, Enagás also offered a speech within the context of the 2nd Annual Small Scale LNG Forum. Ángel Rojo from Enagás Transporte, gave a presentation entitled “LNG Trucking, a first step to the development of LNG as fuel for transportation“, during which he pointed out the need to develop new logistics services at regasification plants as a short-term response to growing demand in the LNG market, and the use of LNG as a fuel for sea, road and rail transportation.

Next Tuesday, the General Manager for Infrastructures and TPA at Enagás, Claudio Rodríguez, will give a presentation entitled “New services: flexibility at LNG plants for a more competitive market”, in the 15th Annual Spanish Gas Sector Meeting, to be celebrated in Madrid.
