Eniram Limited to Attend Kormarine 2013 2

Eniram Limited, the fast-growing Finnish provider of energy management technology and data analytic services to the shipping industry, today announced that it will be attending Kormarine 2013 together with its partners World Ocean and Hyundai e-Marine.

Commenting on the company’s attendance at Kormarine 2013, Mr. Henrik Dahl, VP of Sales of Eniram, said, “Less than a year after partnering with Hyundai e-Marine, a leading provider of onboard electronic systems, and World Ocean, an experienced agent representing a number of leading international brands in the Korean maritime sector, we are delighted to have this chance to attend our first major event in Korea together. Eniram’s nautical and technical experts will be available at the World Ocean (#3B53) and Hyundai e-Marine (#3B25) booths and will be glad to give product demonstrations and show how dynamic optimization of speed, engine, and trim provides shipping companies with verified savings”.

Earlier this year, Eniram published a study which showed that by implementing dynamic trim optimization, ship owners and operators were able to achieve significant savings, typically over USD 500,000 per year. When combined with dynamic speed and engine optimization, even more substantial savings could be achieved. This initiative resulted in a reduction in emission of 3,500 tons of CO2. In today’s eco-focused and highly-regulated shipping world, this considerable operational benefit is one that owners and operators should not ignore.

Dr. JJ Ung Gyu Kim, Executive Vice-President, Hyundai e-Marine said: “We are delighted to exhibit together at Kormarine, one of the world’s leading maritime events and are confident that the partnership between Hyundai e-Marine and Eniram will open up new opportunities for Eniram in Asia

Mr. Sung Hwan Kim of World Ocean said: “World Ocean is thrilled to show our full support for the shipping industry in Asia, and to have this joint opportunity to demonstrate how Eniram’s unique technology directly targets major issues such as fuel consumption and carbon efficiency”.
