Ennsub Appoints New Operations Director (UK)

UK-based subsea products and engineering company Ennsub announces that Gordon Conlon has joined the company as shareholder and Director and assumes the role of Operations Director with immediate effect, taking responsibility for project delivery activities.

Gordon brings a wealth of experience to Ennsub having been involved in the development and delivery of industry-leading subsea-related products and equipment for over 25 years. Until recently, Gordon occupied the position of Operations Director at Tekmar Subsea where he oversaw a period of significant growth for that company, both in terms of product line and client-base. A chartered mechanical engineer with a first class degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Bradford, Gordon is also a member of the Institution of Mechanical Engineers (IMechE).

The strengthening of Ennsub’s management team coincides with the opening of the company’s new project delivery office in the North East of England.

Located within NETPark, the areas premier science, engineering and technology park, the office is strategically-placed to take advantage of the regions welldeveloped supply chain, engineering expertise and exposure to the established offshore oil industry in addition to the evolving offshore renewables market.

Commenting on joining Ennsub, Gordon Colon said: “I am delighted to become part of the vastly experienced management at Ennsub. I believe that our understanding of the subsea industry coupled with our historical track-record of delivering innovative and commercially attractive products and equipment sets us aside from our peers and I look forward to delivering industry-leading solutions to our clients”.

John Smith, Ennsub’s Director added, “In Gordon Conlon, we have a hugely experienced individual in the field of subsea product development and delivery whose track-record speaks for itself. Our ambition to be the supplier of choice for the products and services we offer becomes more achievable now that Gordon has joined the Ennsub team”.
