Explosion Hits PEMEX Headquarters (Mexico)

Headquarters of PEMEX, Mexico’s state controlled oil company, has been hit by an explosion. At least 25 people have been reported dead, 1o1 injured, CNN reports.

According to KTLA, the blast occurred on Thursday in the basement garage of the auxiliary building next to the company’s 52-floor tower in Mexico City.

The cause of the explosion is under investigation, PEMEX said.  The oil giant also said that its production processes will continue to work without irregularities.
