Exxon Awards Julia Field Risers Design Job to 2H Offshore (USA)

2H Offshore, an Acteon company, has been contracted by Exxon Mobil Corporation to conduct the detailed design of two 10 inch production steel catenary risers for ExxonMobil’s Julia Phase 1 development. The Julia development will be a subsea tieback to a moored semi-submersible in approximately 7,000 ft. of water.

Earlier this year 2H was also awarded a Steel Catenary Riser (SCR) detailed design project with LLOG Exploration Company. The scope of works includes the provision of detailed design of the production and export SCRs tied back to the Exmar OPTI-11000® semi-submersible for the Delta House field development.

Mike Campbell, Vice President for 2H Offshore commented, “We are pleased to be working with ExxonMobil and LLOG on these projects. The challenging scope of work demonstrates our clients’ confidence in 2H to handle large detailed design projects and our increased capability to not only meet but exceed our clients’ expectations.”
