FutureGAS Unveils New Look, Australia

Australia’s only whole-of-industry gas event, FutureGAS unveiled a new look. The transition into a cleaner, natural gas economy was the inspiration behind the rebrand.

FutureGAS Conference Convenor Lyndsie Mewett says “After four successful years the timing was right for a signature new look that reflects natural gas’ important role in transitioning to a lower-emission economy.”

Not only is gas-fired power generation based on mature, proven technologies, the fuel source is capable of quick ramp-up to provide the perfect complementary fuel for intermittent renewable energy sources – and Australia has abundant resources.

The vibrant green and blue were selected to create an all round fresh and natural feel, to reflect the increasing uptake of natural gas and to give the brand a modern look.

FutureGAS’ rebrand symbolises a bright future for the gas industry. Natural gas promotes cleaner energy future and now the FutureGAS brand mirrors this message with the new image signifying the importance of reducing pollution and maintaining a clean and healthy environment,” says Ms Mewett.

Founded in 2009 to address the entire spectrum of Australia’s natural gas industry, the conference and exhibition housed 21 exhibitors and welcomed 300 participants.

By 2012, the size and scope of the exhibition more than doubled with 42 exhibitors and 700 participants.

FutureGAS 2013 will be larger than ever before with support from Platinum Sponsor MWM and Gold Sponsors Comdain Infrastructure and Tremco Pipeline Equipment.

The new brand was designed by Gas Industry Marketing Solutions, who offers specialised gas marketing communication services.

FutureGAS 2013 will take place 12 –14 March 2013 at the Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre.
