GAIL tenders for two LNG cargoes

GAIL of India has reportedly issued a tender for the purchase of two liquefied natural gas cargoes.

The two cargoes of the chilled gas will be delivered in May-June period, Reuters informs.

GAIL has until now signed 25 LNG supply deals with big players including BG, Shell, Total etc, under which it imports spot LNG cargoes from time to time, according to the company’s website.

The company also inked long-term agreements with two LNG export projects in the U.S., Sabine Pass and Dominion Cove, as well as with Gazprom for the Shtokman project in Russia.
