Gardline Environmental Limited Opens in New Zealand

Gardline Environmental Limited (GEL) announces the opening of their New Zealand entity Gardline Environmental (New Zealand) Limited (GENZL), based in Wellington.

GENZL provides Marine Mammal Observers (MMO) and Passive Acoustic Monitoring Systems (PAMS) and Operators, Marine Mammal Impact Assessments (MMIAs) and MMO and PAMS Training to both commercial industry and research. GENZL have a large percentage of the Department of Conservation’s (DOC) Qualified and Trained MMOs within its Team, and the first and only DOC Qualified PAM Operator for New Zealand waters, the company informed.

The Wellington office is headed up by Joana Torres, GENZL Environmental Business Development Manager, who has extensive international experience of marine mammal mitigation and environmental compliance having originally worked in the field for a number of years as an MMO / PAM Operator and progressing onto becoming one of GEL’s Senior Project Managers overseeing a range of complex projects for seismic, offshore construction, decommissioning, environmental baseline and research.
