GasLog, GasLog Partners CFO leaves

GasLog and GasLog Partners said that Simon Crowe informed the boards of both companies of his decision to step down as chief financial officer on June 30, 2017.

In order to facilitate a smooth transition, Crowe would remain in his current position as the search for his replacement proceeds, the two companies said in a statement.

Peter Livanos, chairman of GasLog and director of GasLog Partners noted that Crowe joined GasLog as the company evolved from a private business to a publically traded LNG transportation company, adding that he was instrumental in the IPO of GasLog’s MLP, GasLog Partners.

Speaking of his decision to leave, Crowe said that since 2013, the company grew from 10 vessels in 2013 to the current number of 28 vessels.

He added that he intends to look for new challenges outside of GasLog and GasLog Partners.

Crowe served as the CFO since April 2013. Prior to joining GasLog, he served as the chief financial officer of Subsea 7.
