Gate LNG gets Algerian cargo

Dutch Gate LNG terminal in the port of Rotterdam received a cargo of the chilled gas from Algeria.

The GDF Suez Global Energy, with a capacity of 74,500 cubic meters, docked at Gate terminal’s jetty on Monday.

According to shipping data, the LNG terminal is due to receive another LNG cargo from Algeria this week onboard the 154,500 cbm Gaselys.

The vessel is expected at Gate on August 12, the data shows.

Gate had a quite busy year so far with more than 25 vessels calling at the LNG terminal.

It also recently received its 100th LNG cargo since the start-up in 2011.
