Gazprom of Russia Sees Vladivostok LNG FID Early Next Year

The Final Investment Decision for the Vladivostok LNG Project will be taken in the beggining of 2013, Reuters reported, citing Victor Timoshilov, the head of Gazprom’s Oriental Projects Coordination Directorate.

“Feasibility studies will be completed very soon,” he said at an LNG conference in Tokyo.

Gazprom CEO and Director General of the Agency for Natural Resources and Energy under the Japanese Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry, recently signed a Memorandum on the Vladivostok LNG project.

The Memorandum is expected to boost the comprehensive cooperation in order to promote the financing and gas marketing aspects of the project.
