Gazprom, Snam talk gas cooperation

Head of Russian gas giant Gazprom, Alexey Miller met on Monday in St. Petersburg with Marco Alvera, CEO of Italy’s Snam.

The two executives discussed the future development of the European gas infrastructure and potential areas of cooperation, Gazprom said in a brief statement.

Snam specializes in the construction of gas transmission facilities, as well as natural gas transportation, storage, LNG regasification and marketing.
