GNF eyeing Sabine Pass LNG volumes in 2016

Gas Natural Fenosa’s CEO Rafael Villaseca said the Spanish company is targeting Sabine Pass LNG volumes ahead of schedule.

Speaking to Platts, Villaseca said GNF is looking to book LNG volumes from Cheniere’s Sabine Pass liquefaction project in 2016.

Gas Natural Fenosa has booked 4.8 billion cubic meters per year on a contract starting in 2017, but it is interested in swooping some volume before the start of the contract.

Platts cites Villaseca saying that GNF already found buyers for 3 bcm of the contracted 4.8 bcm of LNG.
