Going Dutch: Partnerships in Wind Power (UK)

Tuesday 11 January 2011

Moller Centre, Cambridge

Will current challenges in the supply chain be addressed in time to deliver up to 33GW in the UK by 2020?

Building the North Sea offshore wind energy market is encountering a crucial phase where a further developed supply chain needs to be in place to support the ambitious growth plans of the United Kingdom (UK), Germany, Denmark and the Netherlands.

The Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in London contributes to facilitate growth of this industry in the UK by putting forward Dutch key players, Dutch knowledge and engaging internationally. We believe the Netherlands is the perfect business partner to maximize long-term viability of the offshore wind energy market in the UK and stimulate international cooperation, both in innovation and delivery.

Additionally, the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands will host a networking reception at the National Galleries of Scotland in Edinburgh on Wednesday 8 December 2010.
