Green Marine Wins Dudgeon O&M Contract

Green Marine has won a three-year contract to deliver operations and maintenance work for Equinor’s Dudgeon offshore wind farm in the UK.

Green Marine will provide its Damen-built 2610 Twin Axe vessel Green Storm to assist in the O&M, as well as support from its onshore team.

According to Equinor, Green Storm will be working in tandem with its service operations vessels (SOVs) at the wind farm.

“This contract award is an important stepping-stone in the growth ambitions of the company, and we look forward to building on our close relationship with Equinor and expanding our services in the offshore wind industry,” said Jason Schofield, Managing Director of Green Marine.

Dudgeon comprises 67 Siemens 6MW turbines installed off the coast of Norfolk in England. The 402MW offshore wind farm entered full operation in October 2017 and was officially inaugurated in November the same year.
