GSPC: Mundra LNG to Start by FY 2016

Gujarat State Petroleum Corp expects operations at the Mundra liquefied natural gas terminal to start in the financial year ending March 31, 2016, Reuters reported, citing principal secretary of Gujarat and GSPC’s non-executive director D.J. Pandian.

In next 6-12 months, we will look for a third partner after completing a certain level of work,” he also said.

GSPC LNG, a unit of GSPC,  is developing a 5 mtpa LNG terminal at Mundra in Gujarat, India.

The LNG terminal is designed to have two LNG storage tanks with 160,000 m³ capacity each.

GSPC LNG has awarded the FEED contract to Tractebel of Belgium.
