Gulf Island Fabrication gets Trinidad topsides deal

Gulf Island Fabrication, Inc., has signed a contract to build topsides for an oil and gas company with assets in Trinidad and Tobago.

According to the construction firm, the award follows the previous contract signed earlier this month with the same client, for the construction of the jacket and piles for an offshore project in Trinidad.

Gulf Island Fabrication did not provide financial details of the transaction, nor the identity of the client.
