Hercules' Drilling Rigs and Vessels in US GoM Unharmed

Hercules Offshore, Inc. reported today that all of its drilling rigs and liftboats located in the U.S. Gulf of Mexico have been accounted for and re-manned. Based on preliminary crew inspections, there does not appear to be any significant damage to the rigs or liftboats as a result of Hurricane Isaac. The Company’s facilities in Lafayette, Louisiana also sustained no significant damage.

John T. Rynd, President and Chief Executive Officer, stated, “Our established hurricane and crisis management planning has proven to be effective in safely evacuating our personnel and ensuring that our drilling rigs and vessels weathered the storm without damage or environmental incident. We are grateful for the excellent performance of our entire operational staff and offshore crews during the evacuation process.”
