‘Blue Wedge’ launches fight against port dredging trial

ENVIRONMENT groups plan to resort to the courts to halt development in Australia’s most important port. Dredging vessel the Queen of the Netherlands will arrive in Port Phillip Bay today to start a $32million trial to test the environmental and engineering effects of deepening the shipping channel to the Port of Melbourne.
