E.ON powers up one of UK’s largest offshore wind farms

E.ON has announced that its Robin Rigg offshore wind farm is up and running. The final turbines have completed testing in the Solway Firth and are now capable of producing enough renewable electricity for 117,000 homes.[i] At 180MW, the scheme is one of the largest currently operating in UK waters..
