‘Minor’ issues delay cruise ship terminal’s final approval

The Development Consent Authority (DCA) wants several matters clarified before it will allow building to start on the new passenger cruise ship terminal on Darwin’s waterfront.

Conditional approval has been granted by the DCA and the Northern Territory Government says the facility is on track to be built next year.

The project’s technical manager says the DCA wants some traffic management and pedestrian movements addressed first.
