Ha Long shipyard launches another large cargo ship

Ha Long shipyard, a subsidiary of the Vietnam Shipbuilding Industry Corporation (Vinashin), has launched Tay Son 3, a cargo ship with a capacity of 12,500 tonnes. This is the third of eight ships of the same kind the shipyard is building for the Viet Nam National Shipping Lines (Vinalines). Vinashin plans to build 12 cargo ships with a total capacity of 88,500 tonnes for Vinalines in 2005.
