Italian boatbuilder adds 100 more jobs to Island

An Italian design company known worldwide for its yacht components will be building a production facility in eastern P.E.I., creating 100 fulltime jobs.

Opacmare of Rivalta, Italy, had originally planned to open its North American production facility in Florida.

Those plans have been scuttled and the plant will now be constructed at Pooles Corner near Montague.
