Naqilat to act as shipping agency

Qatar Gas Transport Company (Naqilat) will assume responsibility for providing shipping agency services to all vessels calling at the port of Ras Laffan, it was announced yesterday. Naqilat will act as exclusive agent on behalf of its subsidiary, Naqilat Agency Company, which is to formally take over the task from Qatar Petroleum, when it is officially chartered later this month.
