13 missing in Oman gulf after ship sinks

THIRTEEN crew are missing in the Gulf of Oman after a South Korean ship sank off Iran’s southern coast, Iran’s state-run television said today.

The South Korean-registered Orchid Sun had 23 crew members on board before it went down about 110 nautical miles south-east of the Iranian port city of Chahbahar, it said, adding that so far only 10 had been rescued.
