Britain’s £100m America’s Cup bid

Businessman Sir Keith Mills today launched a £100 million British bid to win sailing’s most prestigious trophy – the America’s Cup.

Sir Keith, 56, who was chief executive of London’s successful bid for the 2012 Olympics, is to put in his own money initially in the hope of winning the 2009 or 2011 competitions.
