Hudong Zhonghua Receives Order of Six Chemical Tankers

Hudong Zhonghua, a CSSC-affiliated shipyard in Shanghai, has received an order of six chemical tankers from Norwegian owner Stolt-Nielsen.

The shipyard has already sign agreement of constructing six 38,000dwt chemical tankers, the first chemical tanker project for the yard.

More orders for the yard may follow: “We are also bidding to construct two 30,000 cbm LNG vessels for the BG-CNOOC project, with Jiangnan Shipyard and DSIC also bidding for the contract,” the official told.
