Hyundai Mipo Bags Gas Carrier Duo

South Korean shipbuilder Hyundai Mipo Dockyard has won an order to build two 22,000cbm semi-refrigerated liquefied petroleum gas tankers, the company said.

The order has been placed by an unnamed shipowner registered in Oceania.

The price tag of each vessel stands at USD 51 million, with delivery slated for March 2017.

It is believed that the company behind the order is Stealth Gas, since the company had declared two options for 21,850-cbm gas carriers last month at a Korean yard. The two vessels are worth the same amount.
