India: Petronet LNG Announces Directorate Change

Petronet LNG said that Shri. Varadarajan Srinivasan, Chairman & Managing Director of Bharat Petroleum Corporation Ltd (BPCL), has been appointed as Nominee Director of BPCL on the Board of the company w.e.f. October 11, 2013 in place of Shri. R. K. Singh, who had superannuated from the services of Bharat Petroleum Corporation.

Petronet LNG is involved in the business of import and regasification of liquefied natural gas (LNG) and supplies to Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL), GAIL (India) Limited (GAIL), Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL) and others.

The company sources LNG under long-term contract from RasGas of Qatar
