India: Petronet LNG Profit Dives

Petronet LNG of India posted a net profit of Rs. 1817.50 million for the quarter ended September 30, down 42 percent as compared to Rs. 3147.90 million for the quarter ended September 30, 2012.

Total income has increased from Rs. 75733.90 million for the quarter ended September 30, 2012 to Rs. 95096.10 million for the quarter ended September 30, 2013.

For the half-year, the company’s net profit was Rs.407.07 crore, down by 30 percent from the Rs.585.64 crore in the corresponding period last year.
