India’s Greatship expanding PSV fleet

India’s Greatship is expanding its fleet with an additional Platform Supply Vessel.

The company, a subsidiary of The Great Eastern Shipping Company Limited, has said it has reached an agreement with an undisclosed supplier to buy a 2015-built 4000 dwt vessel.

The company did not reveal financial details of the acquisition, but said that the vessel is expected to be delivered in the fourth quarter this year.

Upon the delivery, Greatship will own five platform supply vessels and nine anchor handling tug supply vessels. Furthermore, the company’s fleet consists of two multi purpose vessels, six ROV support vessels and three jack-up drilling rigs.
