Iran, India to Expand Energy Relations

The Islamic Republic of Iran and India are set to boost bilateral relations in the field of energy and other economic sectors, Iranian Minister of Petroleum Rostam Qasemi said.

On Sunday, Iranian Minister of Petroleum arrived in New Delhi at the invitation of his Indian counterpart, for three days of talks with high-ranking Indian officials over the expansion of bilateral ties in different sectors, including energy.

Tehran and New Delhi are willing to expand their cooperation in the energy sector,” Qasemi stated, Fars News Agency reported.
