Japan: Chubu Completes Two LNG Tanks at Kawagoe Plant

Chubu Electric of Japan said it has completed two additional LNG tanks at the company’s Kawagoe Thermal Power Plant facility in Kawagoe Cho, Mie Prefecture.

The two LNG storage tanks have a capacity of 180,000 m3 each.

Eni recently signed a tripartite agreement with Chubu Electric and KOGAS for the sale of 28 cargoes of LNG (or 1.7 Mton of LNG) over the period 2013-2017.
