Imabari Shipyard Delivers 38.000 DWT Vessel Clipper Bari-Star

On 1st of November Clipper received the first of the new cutting-edge Bari-Star design, 38,000 dwt vessels, Clipper Bari-Star. This vessel is the next generation handysize type and is very impressive. Clipper will take delivery of six of these units from Imabari shipyard.

Imabari’s  37,000 DWT Type Bulk Carrier was developed as the next-generation small handy size bulk carrier, of which first vessel had been completed on 8th of October, 2010, at Imabari’s Head Office Factory. Basing on thus confirmed actual performance, Imabari decided to market this vessel as 38,000 DWT Type Bulk Carrier with its brand name “IS” BARI-STAR.
