LNG Tanker Scheduled at Futtsu This Week

Japan, the world’s largest LNG importer, is due to receive an LNG cargo from Russia this week, according to port data.

The cargo is being carried by the 145,000 cbm Cygnus Passage, and it is expected to arrive at the Futtsu terminal on March 18.

The Futtsu Thermal Power Station, one of the most representative power stations using LNG, is operated by Tokyo Electric.
