Japan: November LNG Imports Down

Japan’s LNG imports reached 6.66 million tonnes in November, down 4.5 percent compared to the year before, according to data released by the finance ministry.

The country’s LNG import price in November averaged $15.22/MMBtu, down 9.6% from November 2011.

Japan, the world’s biggest LNG consumer, imported 6.67 million tonnes in October, up 8.3 percent compared to the year before.
