Jasa Merin Sells Anchor Handler (Malaysia)

SILK’s subsidiary Jasa Merin has entered into a Memorandum of Agreement sell an AHTS vessel for $ 7.9 million (RM25.36 million).

The vessel, known as M/V JM Damai is a 5,444 bhp Anchor Handling Vessel, built in 2006. It is a Malaysian flagged vessel with Port Klang as the port of registry. The vessel has a gross tonnage of 1,212 tons and net tonnage of 363 tons.

The sale was explained as part of Jasa Mering’s continuous ongoing fleet renewal and replacement programme in the ordinary course of its business.
