JGC to Merge Two Subsidiaries, Japan

JGC of Japan said that at the meeting of its Board of Directors, to be held on July 1 st , 2013, it will merge its wholly-owned consolidated subsidiaries JGC Plant Solutions and JGC PLANTECH. The name of the new company will be JGC Plant Innovation.

Purpose of the merger by merging the management of two consolidated subsidiary companies, JGCwill be able to package the EPC (engineering, procurement, and construction) and plant maintenance business of JGC Plant Solutions with the facilities inspection and quality control techno logy of JGC PLANTECH, to offer a full range of services to clients, from construction through to maintenance and inspection, to develop the company’s business in both the domestic and overseas markets, JGC said in a statement.
