K Line’s AHTS Starts Statoil Contract (Norway)

K Line Offshore AS today announced that the company’s powerful AHTS KL Sandefjord on 1st June started a four months contract plus options for Statoil.

“This contract with a highly recognized charterer is representing an important milestone for our company,” said the company in a press release.

The vessel, delivered to K Line Offshore in January 2011, is described by the Arendal-based company as “the strongest AHTS in the world.”

It has 34.000 BHP and a bollard pull of 390 tons.
