KBR said that, under the terms of the contract, it would provide FEED services for the debottlenecking project to increase production at the plant.

This FEED stipulates KBR performing full FEED services including licenser and vendor management and associated services.

According to the company, KBR will act as an extension to Oman LNG’s project team and help manage the overall execution of the project including the management of the supply and ensure all areas of compliance and safety are adhered to.

Oman LNG was established in 1994 and engages in the business of producing and selling LNG and its by-product, natural gas liquids.

The company operates three liquefaction trains at its site in Qalhat near Sur with a nameplate capacity of 10.4 million tonnes per annum.
